Waterstones Job Application & Careers

The Waterstones job application is currently only available online (via the company’s careers page). Certain locations may have printed out applications available, however we recommend to apply online as it’s a more streamlined process.

  • About the Company: Waterstones is a book store chain based out of the United Kingdom. The company has more than 250 locations throughout the UK. It was founded in 1982 and employs more than 3,000 people across numerous career types.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Use the following link to load the company’s main careers page in a separate web browser window:

Step 2 – Once you’re on the careers page, click the “Search for Jobs” link (outlined in the below screenshot).

  • Note: You can also create a job profile and save it for future use.

Step 3 – Scroll down the page to view a list of all the current openings. You can also filter the list of openings by using the search criteria options near the top of the page.

Step 4 – Click the position title of the job you want to start the online hiring process for.

  • Note: If you want to apply for more than one position click the “Add to My Job Cart” link.

Step 5 – Read the job description and when you’re ready to apply click the button as shown in the screenshot.

Step 6 – If you need to create an account press the “New User” button, otherwise log in to your account.

Step 7 – New User Registration:

  • Username
  • Password
  • re-enter password
  • Email address
  • Re-enter email address

Step 8 – Security Question – Create a security question/answer.

Step 9 – Resume Upload – Upload your resume (optional).

Step 10 – Your Personal Information – Provide the following personal details:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Middle name
  • Street address (line 1)
  • Address (line 2)
  • City
  • Zip/postal code
  • Place of residence (country)
  • Email address
  • Phone number

Step 11 – Submit the required information for the following sections:

  • Your preferences
  • Questionnaire 1
  • Questionnaire 2
  • WOTC
  • Additional questions
  • Education and work experience
  • Attachments
  • Diversity
  • eSignature
  • Review and submit
