The Wendy’s job application is the required form that must be submitted in order to apply for a (restaurant) position with Wendy’s. The form can be filled out online, or downloaded and then printed out. Some of the positions that can be applied for using the application include crew member, shift manager (supervisor), general manager, etc. Apply online to search for multiple job openings in your area.
Apply Online
Step 1 – Visit the Wendy’s careers site (https://careers.wendys.com/).
Step 2 – Search for jobs by filling out the form on the left side of the page (click the “Search” button to load the results).
Step 3 – Review the results, and then click the “Apply” button of the job you’re interested in applying for.
Step 4 – At this point in the application process you will be redirected to the independent franchisee’s online application form. Each franchise has a different online process.
Step 5 – Fill in all of the required sections of the application. After it has been completed, e member of the management team will contact you regarding your application.
How to Write
Step 1 – Download the Application –
Step 2 – Begin by first dating the form at the top right side of the page in mm/dd/yyyy format. Enter the following:
- Last name
- First name
- Middle name
- Social Security Number
- Home address
- City, State, Zip Code
- Home telephone number
- Business phone
- Indicate whether or not the applicant may be contacted at work (check yes or no)
- Applicant’s preferred position
- Date the applicant will be available to begin work
- Check all boxes that apply pertaining to the applicant’s availability to work
- AND
- Indicate in the fields provided the hours of availability on each day of the week- if there are days that the applicant will not be available, leave the fields in the column blank
- Is the applicant willing to relocate? (check yes or no)
- Should the applicant be under the age of 18 years, enter the date of birth in mm/dd/yyyy format
- Is the applicant willing to travel? (check yes or no)
- State the percentage of time the applicant would be willing to travel
Step 3 – Education – Submit the following information in the fields provided for each level of education:
- Name of the educational institution attended
- Address
- City, State, Zip Code
- Degree/Area of study
- Number of years attended
- Indicate whether or not the applicant graduated by selecting yes or no
Step 4 – U.S. Military Service – Provide:
- Branch of service
- Technical Specialization (if any)
- Rank Attained
Step 5 – Legal –
- Answer all of the questions by checking yes or no
- Provide additional information in the lines provided if necessary
Step 6 – Employment History –
- Answer the yes or no questions at the top of the section
- Provide the following required information for each employer (beginning with the most current) in the fields provided:
- Enter the dates worked from (beginning date) to (ending date)
- Employer’s name
- Address
- City
- State
- Phone number
- Applicant’s job title
- Supervisor’s name
- List major duties
- Salary or Hourly wages at the starting date and what the applicant was being paid when their employment ended with each employer
- Submit the reason for leaving the company
- AND
- Applicant must indicate whether or not they have worked for the company before by checking yes or no
- If the answer is yes – enter the following:
- Employee’s name
- Store location
- City and State
- Position held
- Supervisor’s name
- Dates of employment with the company previously from and to
- Reason for leaving
Step 7 – Business References – Provide three unrelated, business references. If the applicant had been known to the reference by a different name, provide the name known to the reference – Enter the following:
- Reference name
- Address
- Work phone number
- Title
- Title
- Years Known
Step 8 – The applicant must carefully review the entire section, then enter:
- Applicant’s Signature
- Date the signature in mm/dd/yyyy format
