State of New York Job Application & Careers

The online State of New York job application is available via the company’s careers page. Follow the links posted on this page (near the top of the page/in the instructional guide) to go to the company’s employment page. When you open the company’s employment portal you will be able to search for current job openings, register for an online account, and fill out/submit applications for any job openings that you want to apply for.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Go to the New York employment site by clicking the button at the top of this page OR click here to have the page open in a new browser tab/window.

  • Note: The link/button at the top of this page will take you directly to the state’s employment site.

Step 2 – Once you have the employment page open click the “Search Vacancies” link on the left side of the page to go to the main job search page.

Step 3 – Fill out the search form and then hit the “Submit Query” at the bottom of the page to go to the list of results/current openings.

Step 4 – The list of current vacancies can be sorted by title, date posted, deadline, agency, or county. Click the title of the position that you want to apply for to go to the next part of the process.
