Step 1 – The first step of finding a job with the State of Massachusetts is to go to the state’s job search page. Click this link to have the page open in a new window/tab within your current browser.

Step 2 – Once you’re on the state’s employment page click the “current job listings” link to go to the next step of the job search process.
Step 3 – Enter a keyword into the first input field and then hit the search icon to load the list of current openings. The list of results can be sorted via the options on the left side of the page (city, job category, schedule, shift, organization, etc.).
Step 4 – Press the title/link of the specific position that you want to submit an application for.
Step 5 – Read the job description and then press the button that’s outlined in red in the below image to go to the next step of the application process.
Step 6 – Create an account and then fill out/submit the application.
