HEB Job Application

Learn how to search for current openings and apply for them (using the HEB job application). HEB (also referred to as H-E-B), is a supermarket chain with over 450 locations throughout the State of Texas. Numerous types of positions can be applied for online including in-store/retail, corporate, pharmacy, store management, etc.

  • About the Company: HEB was founded in 1905 and is headquartered out of San Antonio, Texas. The company also operates numerous locations in Northern Mexico.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Use the link at the top of the page to open the careers site in a new tab/window.

Step 2 – Scroll down the page and hit the “Search…” button of the job type you want to search for (e.g. hourly, corporate, etc.).


Step 3 – Search the job openings by entering a keyword/location into the search form.

Step 4 – Hit the “Apply” button to load the next step.


Step 5 – In order to submit an online application you must create an account. Press the “New User – Create Login” button to load the registration form.

Note: You can log in using your Yahoo/Google account details.


Step 6 – New User Registration – Fill out the form:

  • Password


Step 7 – Accept the privacy agreement by clicking the “I Accept” button.


Step 8 – Resume Upload:

  • Upload your resume if applicable.

Step 9 – Personal Information – Complete the section by entering the required details:

  • Preferred first name
  • Last name
  • Legal first name
  • Social security number
  • Street address
  • City
  • Zip/Postal code
  • Closest major city
  • Home phone number
  • Preferred phone number
  • Email address
  • Source type (how you heard about the job opening)


Step 10 – Complete all required sections of the form:

  • Eligibility questions
  • Experience
  • General information
  • Background questions
  • Availability
  • Equal employment opportunity
  • eSignature
  • Review/submit
