It should be noted that only in-store/hourly positions can be applied for using this form. Individuals interested in corporate positions must apply through other channels.
- About the Company: The Cato Corporation is an American chain of women’s clothing stores based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The company was formed in 1946 and currently has more than 1,300 locations throughout the country. It operates stores under several different brand names.
Apply Online
Step 1 – Use the following link to open the company’s main employment page in a separate browser window/tab:

Step 2 – Scroll down the page and then click the link of the career type you’re interested in (as outlined in the screenshot – use the links on the left-side of the page).
Step 3 – The list of all current openings will be displayed according to location. Click the position that you want to submit an application for to learn more about its requirements, responsibilities, desired qualifications, etc.
Step 4 – Instructions regarding how to apply for the position will be displayed below the job description. Some positions will require that the applicant submit an application in-person. Other positions (i.e. management, assistant management, etc.) will have an email where the applicant can send their resume to.

Step 1 – Use the link at the top of this page to download the official Cato employment application (in .PDF format).
Step 2 – On the first page of the form fill in the following information:

- Full name
- Address
- City/state
- Zip/postal code
- Home phone
- Cell phone
- Email address
- Position applied for
- Salary desired
- Hours/days
- Full/part-time
- Available start date
- Have you ever been employed by the company?
- Have you ever been convicted of a non-traffic violation crime?
- Can you provide documentation for your ability to work in the U.S.?
- Education history
Step 3 – On the second page of the form provide the following:
