American Eagle Job Application

Read the instructions provided on this page to learn how to search for current openings (and apply for them using the American Eagle job application). American Eagle Outfitters is a clothing/accessories retailer with more than 900 locations (both in the United States and abroad). In-store, corporate, and supply chain positions can be applied for online.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Go to the American Eagle jobs site here.

Step 2 – Enter a keyword/location into the search bar and then hit the “Search” button to view the results.


Step 3 – Click on the job you want to apply for.


Step 4 – Read the position summary/responsibilities and then click the “Apply for Job” button.


Step 5 – Fill in your email address and press the “Go” button.


Step 6 – New User Registration – Provide the following details:

  • User name
  • Password
  • Email address


Step 7 – Create a security question/answer and then press the “OK” button.


Step 8 – Accept the terms/privacy agreement.


Step 9 – Resume/Profile Upload – Import your details from LinkedIn/Indeed, or upload your resume (optional).


Step 10 – Personal Information – Submit the following:

  • Source type (select from drop-down list)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Street address
  • City
  • Zip/Postal code
  • Country
  • Primary number
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Availability details
  • Work experience (employer, location, reason for leaving, etc.)
  • Education experience (institution, program, education level, etc.)
  • Employment preferences (shift/schedule)


Step 11 – Press the “Save and continue” button to move to the next section.

Step 12 – Complete the following sections:

  • General questions
  • Job specific questions
  • File attachments

Step 13 – Provide your eSignature and then review/submit the application.
