The Vermont job application can be found on the state’s main employment site. Use the links/buttons provided on this page to go directly to the state’s careers page. Once you’re on the careers page you will be able to search the list of current openings, create a job portal account, and submit applications for positions that you are interested in. Step 1 – Start by going to the main Vermont job opportunities page here.
- Note: The above link will load in a new tab/window within your current browser. If you’d rather go directly to the page (in this current tab/window) then simply go to the top of this page and hit the “Apply” button/link.
Step 2 – Scroll down the page and press the link that’s outlined in red in the below screenshot. You will be taken to the main job search page.
Step 3 – Use the basic job search form to conduct a search for current openings with the state. The results will display directly below the search form.
Step 4 – Click the title/link of the specific role that you want to submit an application for. You will be transferred to that role’s description page.
Step 5 – Read the job description page, and then click the “apply” button to start the application process.
