Starbucks Job Application & Careers

The Starbucks job application is a form that can either be completed online or in-person at location in your area. There are several possible positions available at the retail level to apply for including barista, shift manager, shift supervisor, store manager, district management, etc. Corporate-level positions must be applied for online. The instructional guide provided below provides a general overview of the online application process.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Go to the “Career Center” website here.

Step 2 – If you’re searching for an in-store opening select your desired position from the drop-down menu on the left and then click the “Search” button. If you’re interested in applying for a corporate position then use the drop-down menu on the right.

Step 3 – Review the job summary, scroll down the page, and then click the “Choose a Location” link.

Step 4 – Enter your ZIP code into input field and hit the green arrow button to load the results page.

Step 5 – Click the link of the location you would like to apply for.

Step 6 – Select which additional locations you would like your application to be sent to.

Step 7 – Choose what other positions you want to apply for, and then click the “Begin Application” button.

Step 8 – In order to begin the application you must first create an online account. Enter the following details into the input fields:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Username
  • Password
  • Password hint
  • Click the register button to load the application form.

Step 9 – Check the box, agreeing to the “E-Signature Consent,” and then press the “Next” button to load the next section.

Step 10 – Personal Information – In this section you must enter the following information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Current address
  • County, City, State, ZIP
  • Phone Number
  • SSN
  • How you heard about the job opportunity

Step 11 – College Achievement Plan – Select if you want to enroll into the “College Achievement Plan” (a benefits program created in partnership with Arizona State University).

Step 12 – Continue to fill out the required sections of the application:

  • Misc State Script
  • Consent/Disclosure
  • State Disclosures
  • Pre-Employment Questions
  • Application Information
  • EEO Questions

Step 13 – Review and then submit your application.

How to Write

Step 1 – Download the document.

Step 2 – Personal Information – Print or Type the following:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Middle name
  • Date the form in mm/dd/yyyy format
  • Answer the next three questions -(check yes or no)
  • AND
  • Enter the applicant’s present address
  • Street
  • City
  • State/Province
  • Zip or Postal Code
  • AND
  • Enter the applicant’s present address
  • Street
  • City
  • State/Province
  • Zip or Postal Code
  • AND
  • Day Phone
  • Evening Phone
  • Referred By

Step 3 – Employment Desired:

  • Position
  • Location/Department
  • Salary Desired
  • Date You Can Start
  • AND
  • Specify hours of availability by entering them into each day of the week that the applicant will be available to work
  • Answer the questions, at the end of this section if applicable

Step 4 – Education – Submit the following for all educational experiences:

  • Name and Address of each school attended
  • Circle the last year completed
  • Did the applicant graduate? (circle y/n)
  • Enter the subjects studied and any degrees an/or diplomas received
  • AND
  • List applicant’s skills in the line provided
  • Typing – Words per minute
  • Does the applicant have 10-key skills (check yes or no)
  • Computer Proficiency (Check those that are applicable to the applicant’s skills)
  • AND
  • The next portion of this section will ask the applicant a question and expand on any of the questions that apply, in the lines provided

Step 5 – Former Employers (Work History) – Begin with the most current employer, followed by providing the same information for up to three (3) previous employers:

  • Enter the following information pertaining to the last three (3) employers. Complete this section, even if a resume is attached:
  • Date the information in mm/dd/yyyy format
  • The dates (mm and yyyy) in which the applicant was employed with the employer
  • Employer’s name, address and type of business
  • Complete the Salary or Hourly inquiry box
  • Position held
  • Reason for leaving
  • Duties Performed
  • Supervisor’s name
  • Phone number
  • May the employer be contacted by the company? (y or n)

Step 6 – Professional References – Applicant must be acquainted for at least one (1) year. Provide the following:

  • Reference name
  • Address and phone number
  • Business
  • Years acquainted and how does the applicant know this person

Step 7 – Date and Signature – Once the document is completed:

  • Date the document in mm/dd/yyyy format
  • Submit the applicant’s signature
