Use the PetSmart job application to apply for in-store, service, and management positions. PetSmart is a pet supplies/services chain with over 1,400 locations throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Use the instructions below to learn how to find a job in your area.

Apply Online

Step 1 – Begin by going to the careers site.

Step 2 – Select which type of jobs you want to search for (click one of the links outlined below).


Step 3 – Enter your city/state or zip code and then click the green arrow button to load the results.


Step 4 – Select one of the locations.


Step 5 – Review the current job openings and then select which one you want to apply for.


Step 6 – Review the position’s description and requirements. Click the “Apply Now” button near the bottom of the page to start the application.


Step 7 – If you want to apply to numerous locations (up to five) select them from the list of options and then hit the “Begin Application” button.


Step 8 – Sign in to your account to start. If you don’t have an account fill out the registration form to create one.

Step 9 – Enter the following information into the form:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Username
  • Password
  • Password hint


Step 10 – Terms and Conditions – Read the pre-application disclosures. Check the “I Agree” box and then click the “Next” button.


Step 11 – Resume – Upload your resume.

Step 12 – Personal Information:

  • Fill in your first/last name
  • Address
  • Country
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP
  • Phone
  • Email address
  • Social security number
  • How you heard about the job opportunity (select from the drop-down list)


Step 13 – Submit the required details for the following sections:

  • EEO questions
  • Disclosures
  • Pre-employment questions
  • Application information

Step 14 – Review your application and then submit it to complete the process.
